Commander-in-Chief: Dragon X-World is based on the Marvel Universe, diverging from the comic books around the time of Operation: Zero Tolerance. X-World runs on IRC (Internet Relay Chat), where multiple users can interact simultaneously within chat rooms, or channels. Since X-World is a division of ASG (Alliance Simulation Group), we meet in the channel #Alliance, which is ASG's channel. If you don't already have mIRC, Pirch, or some other IRC chat program, you can download them free from http://www.mirc.net, or shareware sites such as http://www.download.com. Once you have the program, you can connect to
Dwarfstar through a number of
different servers (note: servers occasionally go down or have other problems, so if one
server doesn't work, try the next): Alternatively, if you don't have an IRC chat program yet and you just want to drop by and see us, open the Java IRC client in a browser window, enter your nickname in place of Guest, replace the channel field Live_Fire with Alliance, and hit 'Connect Now'.
